- Payment Methods and Installments
The plugin adds seven payment methods to WooCommerce. Each one is listed in
Each method has its own settings page, its own title, and can be enabled on its own. They all have the fields described in the article about the gateway settings. Enter your terminal number, company code and security key in each method you enable.
The seven methods
- Monetico – Credit Mutuel / CIC: a single card payment. Default public title: Credit Card.
- Monetico – Paiement en 2 fois: payment in 2 installments. Default public title: Pay in 2 times.
- Monetico – Paiement en 3 fois: payment in 3 installments. Default public title: Pay in 3 times.
- Monetico – Paiement en 4 fois: payment in 4 installments. Default public title: Pay in 4 times.
- Monetico – Paypal: payment with PayPal, a Monetico partner. It needs a particular option on your Monetico contract. Default public title: PayPal.
- Monetico – Cofidis 3xCB: payment in 3 installments with Cofidis, a Monetico partner. It needs a particular option on your Monetico contract. Default public title: Cofidis 3xCB.
- Monetico – Cofidis 4xCB: payment in 4 installments with Cofidis. Same condition. Default public title: Cofidis 4xCB.
Payment in 2, 3 or 4 times
Check that your Monetico contract allows it and that your virtual terminal is set to accept payments in several installments. The installments are monthly.
- The first installment is charged when the customer pays.
- The next ones follow every month, on the same day.
- The installments are equal and rounded down to the cent. The last one takes the rest.
When the customer pays, the plugin adds a note to the order, visible to the customer, titled Payments planned for: with the date and amount of each installment. Each time the bank confirms an installment, the plugin adds an order note for you and another for the customer. Until all the installments are received, the order is Processing. Once the total is received, the plugin completes the payment of the order.
Contrainte d’utilisation
The methods in installments and the two Cofidis methods have an extra group, Contrainte d’utilisation, to offer the method only for some order amounts. The main method and PayPal do not have it.
- Seuil minimum: the method is hidden if the order amount is strictly lower than this value.
- Seuil maximum: the method is hidden if the order amount is greater than or equal to this value. Leave it empty for no limit.
You can write the decimal separator as a comma or a point.
