- What Your Customers See
Each tab of the list appears in the WooCommerce My Account menu, next to the tabs of WooCommerce such as the orders. Customers reach it at the address https://yourwebsite.com/my-account/the_url_slug_you_chose.
The menu entry
The entry is named after the Label of the tab. If the label is empty, it takes the title of the selected page. If the page has no title, it takes the URL Slug. The entry sits at the Insertion Position you chose.
The content of the tab
When a customer clicks the entry, the content of the selected page is displayed inside the My Account page, exactly as it would on the page itself: blocks, text, images and the shortcodes written in it are all processed. The plugin only prints the page content, not its title. To change what the tab shows, edit the page: the tab always shows the current content.
The plugin has no shortcode of its own. To show something specific in a tab, put it in the page, for example the shortcode of another plugin.
Who sees a tab
A tab with no role in Roles restrictions is available to every customer. A tab with roles is available only to logged-in users who have at least one of them. For other users, the plugin does not add the entry to the menu or the address of the tab.
Saving flushes the address rules
Each time you save a tab, the plugin refreshes WordPress’ rewrite rules at the end of the request, so that the new address works without a visit to the permalinks settings.
