Monetico - Credit Mutuel / CIC
The plugin screens are written in French and are not translated. This article quotes each label as the plugin prints it, then explains it.
This article describes the main method, Monetico – Credit Mutuel / CIC. The other methods have the same fields (see the article about the payment methods).
Enable
- Activer/Désactiver: tick Activer les paiements via Monetico (Credit Mutuel / CIC) to offer this method at checkout. It is off by default.
Votre compte Monetico
The three values your bank gave you, and the return URL you must give back. See the article about what to set up with your bank.
- Numéro de votre TPE virtuel
- Code Société
- Clé de sécurité (MAC)
Options et Comportement
- Mode de test: tick Activer le mode de test to try the payment method without real transactions. It is on by default. See the article about test mode.
- Information de debuggage: tick Enregistrer les échanges to write what the plugin exchanges with the bank in the WooCommerce status log. It is on by default. Turn it off in normal use. This setting is shared: saving it on one Monetico method applies it to all of them.
- Permettre les remboursements: tick Recrédit client to refund orders from WooCommerce through the bank. It is on by default. See the article about refunds.
- Paiement Express Multi-CB: tick this box if your Monetico service has the Paiement Express Multi-CB option. It is off by default. When it is on, a logged-in customer gets a card alias, so the bank can offer the card again. The plugin asks for the card number again if the customer’s billing, shipping or account details changed.
- Préférence 3DSecure: asks the Monetico service for a particular behavior about 3D Secure, the strong authentication of the card holder. The choices are listed below.
- Sécurisation des échanges: tick Forcer le protocole TLS v1.2 to force the TLS 1.2 protocol when your site calls the bank. It is on by default. Untick it to let your server choose. In this version, the plugin applies it to the refund request.
The Préférence 3DSecure choices are:
- Pas de préférence (Géré par le service Monetico): the default.
- Authentification souhaitée
- Authentification systématique demandée
- Pas d’authentification demandée
- Pas d’authentification demandée car une authentification forte a déjà été réalisée
- Pas d’authentification demandée car le client est un tiers de confiance
- Pas d’authentification demandée car une analyse préalable de risque a été faite
The plugin sends your choice with each payment. When the bank answers, the plugin writes the 3D Secure result in an order note.
Gestion de l’Apparence
- Formulaire de paiement: Externe (default) sends the customer to the bank’s payment page after the order is placed. Intégré shows a payment form inside your site and needs the iframe option of your contract. See the article about the customer’s payment flow.
- Titre: the name of the payment method shown to the customer at checkout. The default is Credit Card.
- Description: more information shown to the customer when they choose this method.
- Message de redirection: the message shown briefly while the customer is sent to the bank. It only exists when the payment form is Externe. If you leave it empty, the plugin shows You will be redirected to our bank payment page. Please wait.
- Instructions: a message added to the thank you page and to the customer’s emails.
- The last field has the method’s card icon as its name. Tick Le titre de la méthode de paiement inclut une icone de carte de crédit. to show the icon next to the title. It is on by default.
Save the changes with the usual WooCommerce button.
