Knowledge Base

Welcome to the WooCustomAccount documentation. WooCustomAccount adds your own tabs to the WooCommerce My Account page of your customers. Each tab displays the content of a page of your site.

Requirements

  • WordPress 5.3 or later
  • PHP 7.3 or later
  • WooCommerce 7.1.0 or later, installed and active

The plugin declares itself compatible with the WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).

Download and install

After purchasing your license, you should receive an email with a download link. You can also log into your account at https://plugins.longwatchstudio.com/my-account/ and go to the Downloads section to download the plugin’s zip file.

Then, in your website, go to

WordPress Admin
Plugins
Add New
Upload Plugin

Select the zip file and activate the plugin.

Activate your license

You will find your license key inside the order confirmation email, or in your account at https://plugins.longwatchstudio.com/my-account/ inside Orders → License Manage.

WooCustomAccount is a licensed plugin. Until a license key is active, the plugin’s settings page only shows this notice: Product license not activated, followed by a link to the license page. You cannot create or edit tabs before activating the license.

To open the license page, go to the plugins list and click Add Licence Key in the row of WooCustomAccount. This link shows as long as the license is not active. Paste your license key in the page and validate.

Open the settings

Once the license is active, go to

WordPress Admin
My Account Page
Customer's My-Account tabs

From the plugins list, the Settings link of the plugin leads to the same page. Only administrators (the manage_options capability) can open it.

The next article explains how to create your first tab.
