VIP Memberships is a Membership plugin for WooCommerce. It offers all the features you can expect from a membership plugin and a lot more. You can get more information about this plugin here.

If you have both plugins installed, you will see new method to earn points and more rewards available in WooRewards.

Method to earn points : Become WooVIP Member

The Become WooVIP Member action is used to give points to users when they become members of one of your VIP Memberships.

In your points and rewards system, click on the Add button and select Become WooVIP Member from the WooVIP group.

Then, click the Next button. You will see a screen with a lot options.

Let’s review the different options available :

• Action title : Name of the action. This information will be displayed to your customers. You can rename it how you want.
• Earned points : The amount of points earned.
• WooVIP Lounge : The VIP Membership for which customers have to become a member of.

Method to earn points : Lose WooVIP Membership

The Lose WooVIP Membership action is used to give points to users when customers lose a VIP Membership.

In your points and rewards system, click on the Add button and select Lose WooVIP Membership from the WooVIP group.

Then, click the Next button. You will see a screen with a lot options.

Let’s review the different options available :

• Action title : Name of the action. This information will be displayed to your customers. You can rename it how you want.
• Earned points : The amount of points earned.
• WooVIP Lounge : The VIP Membership to lose.

New Reward : WooVIP Membership

The WooVIP Membership reward will grant the designed WooVIP Membership to the customer.

Go to WooRewards → Points and Rewards and select a Points and Rewards system to edit.

In the new window, go into the Rewards or Levels and Rewards group.

In the rewards list (or inside a level), click the Add button and select Grant WooVIP membership from the WooVIP group.

Click the Next button to get access to the options.

Set the following values :

• Reward Information : Set the required information.
  • Title : The reward’s title. It will be displayed to customers on various widgets, emails and WooCommerce pages.
  • Description : The reward’s description. It will be displayed to customers on various widgets and emails.
  • Featured image : The reward’s image. Customers will see this when they receive a new reward email or inside rewards widgets.
• Reward Settings : Set the required information.
  • Points needed : The points needed in order to unlock that reward. You won’t see that information in leveling points and rewards systems as this value is set directly inside the level.
  • Send Reward email : Decide if customers receive an email when they unlock that reward or not. The default value is Yes.
• WooVIP Membership : Set the required information.
  • WooVIP Membership : The membership you want to give.
  • Duration : The duration of the membership.
  • Memberships to revoke : Select the memberships that need to be revoked on getting the new one.
  • Quiet revocation : If checked, a membership revocation does not trigger any event. You can ignore this if you do not use complex system with point earning method on losing membership.
