Now that WooRewards is active on your website, it’s time to do some basic settings. Afterwards, we’ll move on to some styling settings. Finally, we’ll see how to create your loyalty program.
Basic Settings
First, let’s begin by setting the general rules that will apply to your loyalty program. In order to do that, go to the following page :
Forget the first group for the moment and focus on the two additional settings groups.

In this group, you can set up various options regarding customer points :
Point Discounts Settings
If you want to let your customers use their points on the cart for immediate discount, the following options are important. Otherwise, you can skip this section.
It’s now time to move on to the next section of basic settings. Go to the following page :
There, you find some more settings you need to set up before creating your loyalty program
- Coupon prefix and length : If you plan on offering coupons as rewards, you can set a prefix and a code length. As a result, you’ll be able to easily sort woorewards coupons from other coupons.
- Birthday Settings : If you want to use the birthday feature, check the appropriate boxes here.
- Referral Features : Referrals can be a big part of your loyalty program. Therefore, activate the different options here if you want to use that feature.
Basic settings are now over, it’s time to move to styling options.
Styling options

There are various styling options to set here. Every change you make will reflect on the preview. Most elements you can display on the frontend will use these styling options. Therefore, make sure they match your website’s design.

Manual Settings or Wizard
In order to create your loyalty program, you have two main options : Use the configuration wizard or set up your program manually.
While wizards will present several basic programs to choose from, the manual settings will allow for more variety and precision. Therefore, if you’re unfamiliar with loyalty programs, you should start with the wizard. On the contrary, if you know exactly what you want to achieve, you should use the manual settings.
