The box list

Each row is a box, with its Opening date, its Label, its Reward and a Status:

• Demo reward, to replace: the box still holds the demo text written on activation.
• Ready: you have set the reward of this box.

Each logged-in customer can open each box once, on its opening date, and gets its reward. To change the number of boxes, add or delete boxes: use Add a box above the list, or Delete on a row. Deleting a box also deletes its openings.

Edit a box

Click Edit on a row. The box window has three settings:

• Opening date: the only day this box can be opened, in your site’s time zone. After that day, a box left unopened shows as missed.
• Label: shown on the box door, for example the day number.
• Reward: Text, or Existing WooCommerce coupon.

Click Save box to keep your changes.

Text reward

Fill Reward text: the customer reads it in the reward window when opening the box. Use it for a message, a tip or a surprise announced for later.

Coupon reward

Search the coupon by its code in the Coupon field: the list shows your published WooCommerce coupons. The plugin does not create coupons. Its amount, validity and usage limits stay set in WooCommerce: use Manage coupons to create or change them.

A coupon held by a box is refused at checkout to any customer who did not open one of the boxes holding it. Use coupons made for the calendar, not a coupon you already give elsewhere.

If a coupon used by a box is deleted in WooCommerce, the list shows Coupon deleted, choose another one for that box.

Tips

• Replace every demo reward before December 1: the Status column shows which boxes still hold one.
• Set an expiry date on your coupons in WooCommerce: the reward window shows it to the customer.
• With the Pro version, a box can also offer a product, and give WooRewards points, wallet credit or a VIP membership on top of its reward. See the Pro Features articles.
