Now, it’s time to sell it. Selling a Membership is really easy with VIP Memberships.

Selling a membership with a WooCommerce Product

Go to your WooCommerce products and create a new product. You can also edit an existing product.

Set a price for your membership like for a regular product.

In the Product Data group, you will see a new WooVIP Membership Tab.

Select the WooVIP Membership Tab. Then, select which membership will be granted when purchasing the product.

That’s it, you’re ready to sell memberships to your customers.

Selling a membership for a limited period

When you edit the product, stay a little longer in the tab WooVIP Membership of the Product Data group.

Under the membership selector, you can check the “During” box. Then select a validity period.

The membership will be granted to the customer as soon as the order is completed. The membership will then be automatically lost at the end of the validity period.

Selling a membership with a subscription

Requires WooCommerce Subscription plugin.

If your product is of type “Simple subscription” or “Variable subscription”, membership will be correlated to the subscription status.

As long as the customer’s subscription is active, their membership remains valid. As soon as the status of the subscription changes to “cancelled” or “expired”, their membership is revoked.
