There are 2 locations from where you can manage your customers’ memberships. We’ll review both of them here.
Members Page
You can find the members page directly inside VIP Membership’s menu :
WordPress Admin
Admin menu
When you reach that page, you’ll see a list that presents all your wordpress users, even if they don’t have a membership.
Search and Filters
Above the list, you’ll find different filters
- Show/Hide Columns : By default, the list shows one column for each membership. This can be problematic if you have many different memberships. In this option, select which membership columns you want to display.
- Narrow your search : You can search for specific users. You can use their name, user id or user email
- Filter by Membership : Select a membership and the list will only show users of that membership
Members List
In the list, you’ll see the following columns :
- Bulk Select : The first column lets you select users for which you want to perform an action
- User : Shows the user’s login, nicename and email address
- Membership : For each membership, you’ll see a column. If a user is a member, you’ll see when he became a member. Optionally, you’ll see when the membership ends if it’s available.
Under the list, you can perform actions. You can grant or remove memberships and, optionally, set an end date for the membership. You need to select the users for which this action will be performed in the list above.
Users Page
In the standard WordPress page, you’ll also get access to VIP Memberships options. Go to the following page :
WordPress Admin
Admin menu
At the top of the users list, you’ll see some options related to VIP Memberships :
- VIP Member of… : Select the memberships or user role for which you want to perform an action
- Date : If you selected a membership, you can set an expiration date for the membership
- Grant : Grant the role or membership to the selected users.
- Revoke : Revoke the membership or role for the selected users
