Widgets and Shortcodes

WooVirtualWallet provides different widgets and shortcodes to display information to your customers. Let’s review the different options.

Virtual Wallet Balance

To display their actual balance to customers, you have different options :

  • A widget : Go to Appearance → Widgets and select the WooVirtualWallet Balance widget.
  • A first shortcode : Use the wallet_balance shortcode on your content to display the wallet balance.
  • A second shortcode : Use the wallet_simple_balance to display a balance without any styling, only the amount and the currency.

To customize the appearance of the balance, go to WooVirtualWallet → Settings → Widgets and use the styling tool.

Virtual Wallet History

To display their wallet history to customers, you have different options :

  • A widget : Go to Appearance → Widgets and select the WooVirtualWallet Balance widget.
  • A shortcode : Use the wallet_history shortcode on your content to display the wallet history.

To customize the appearance of the history, go to WooVirtualWallet → Settings → Widgets and use the styling tool.

Wallet Balance Menu
Pro

If you want to display the wallet balance inside a menu, follow this procedure :

  • Go to Appearance → Menus, select your menu and add a new Custom Link named Wallet Balance with a # value in URL.
  • Save your menu.
  • Go to WooVirtualWallet → Settings → Widgets and go down to the Wallet Balance Menu section.
  • In the Wallet Balance Menu item dropdown, select the menu entry previously created.
  • Save your settings.

If you have a menu tool that lest you use shortcodes, you can also use the wallet_menu_balance shortcode.

To customize the appearance of the balance, go to WooVirtualWallet → Settings → Widgets and use the styling tool.
