Products Rules
This documentation is for the WooVIP plugin
In WooVIP, there are 2 main ways to add product rules for your memberships. First you can set general rules directly in the membership screen. These rules will apply on different product categories. Secondly, you can create specific rules directly in the WooCommerce product edition. Please be aware that rules for specific products will override rules set by product categories.
Rules on products categories
To create and edit rules for product categories, go to WooVIP → Memberships. As a result, you’ll see a list of all active memberships. Click on the membership for which you want to add products rules. It displays a new page in which you’ll see a Product Rules group.
Click the Add button. As a consequence, a popup with various settings will appear.
There are a lot of options there. Therefore, we’ll look at them one by one :

Product Rules
Product Categories
Product Page Specific Content
When you’re done with the rule, click the Save button. You can add as many rules as you want and edit/delete them at will.
Rules on specific products
Sometimes, you’ll want to set discounts or other rules on specific products or product variations. In that case, you need to edit the WooCommerce product directly.
Simple products
For simple products, adding rules is pretty easy. Edit your product and, in the Product data group, you’ll see a WooVIP Rules Tab.
In that tab, you’ll see a group for each of your memberships. And, for each membership, you can set different membership rules.
Variable products
For variable products, it’s a bit different. You have the choice to set rules that will apply to all the variations or to set different rules for each variation.
Rules for all product variations
In the product edition, go to the WooVIP Rules tab.
There, you can set different options :
