Getting Started

This documentation is for the WooRewards plugin

Plugin Installation

After purchasing the plugin, you will receive an email with a download link to download the plugin file.
If you don’t find this email, go to plugins.longwatchstudio.com and click the My Account button on top. Go to the Downloads section and download the file.

Now that you have downloaded the zip file, go to your wordpress administration and go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Drag and drop the zip file in the designated area or click on the Select a file… button and choose the plugin zip file.

Then, click on the Install Now button.

Once the installation process is complete, click on the Activate plugin button. The plugin is now activated and you will be redirected to WooRewards’ license page.

License Key

Free Version Warning

If you had the free version previously installed, you won’t find the license key input. You need to download and install the pro version first by following the instructions above.

 

In your WordPress administration, go to MyRewards → System. Here you will find a License Tab. Click on it and you will see a field to enter your license key.

Enter the license key and click on Activate your license. Wait for the process to finish. You now have access to all the plugin’s features.

Initial Setup

After the initial setup, there are several options to setup before creating your first Points and Rewards system.

Go to MyRewards -> Features and set the following settings :

  • Include taxes : By default, WooRewards doesn’t include taxes when calculating earned points. If you check this box, it will.
  • Order statuses for points : By default WooRewards adds points when orders have the Processing status. You can select here the statuses for which you want to give the points. Points are only given once per order, even if you set more than one status. We recommend to use the Complete status.

When this is done, you’re ready to create your loyalty program by following one of our tutorials.

Contact the Support

Click on the Admin Menu on the top right and select the Support option in the menu.

 

You will be redirected to the Support screen.

Follow the instructions and fill the support form to send your request.

You will receive an answer within 24 hours with detailed instructions on how to setup your loyalty program.
